National Environment Agency (NEA) has responded to my letter to The Straits Times on the sorry state of our public toilets.
You may want to know that business owners have been fined for not ensuring the basic hygiene. Since NEA officers are not omnipresent, the public can report filthy condition to NEA using one of the following methods

Perhaps due to lack of awareness or simply apathy, it’s time to take a pro-active approach. If everyone does our part to put pressure on irresponsible business owners, I am sure we are moving a step closer to cleaner public toilets.
